Baby Unit
Little Friends Baby Unit is a self contained play room and separate sleeping room which is safe, self sufficient and baby centred. The environment offers a wide variety of new, multi sensory experiences which are optimum for babies learning. This is where babies begin to lay foundations for their future from their very first visit.
The baby unit implements the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, and from an early age the staff are observing, monitoring, and planning for each individual child’s next steps.
In the baby unit your child will be cared for and supported enabling them to become happy and confident individuals. Staff will support you and your child through their development, and through their first learning experiences.
Families are supported through an extensive settling in and induction process which is tailored to individual needs. Key Workers spend time with families, who are the child’s first and most enduring carers and educators, to ensure a successful partnership in the care, learning and development of the children.
